One Hundred Cheeses From Vermont
One quarter of the world’s production of cheese comes from the US and per person, it is Vermont that has the biggest number of cheese makers. There’s a belt across the state known as the Vermont Cheese Trail and there are over forty cheese makers there. With a high incidence of tourists who come to see the changing colours of fall, the state also has a number of tours that go around the cheese producing units. Together with its maple syrup, the state is getting to be quite famous for its cheese.
