Organic Farms Are Highly Profitable In Poland

October 5th, 2008

Dairy farmers in Poland have risen to the challenge of competing with supermarket items and have taken organic farm produce to a new high where production is concerned. One can see visible proof of how well these farmers are doing by the improvement in their lifestyles. From butter and cheese to cream and yogurt – there are over 3500 farms dotting the Polish countryside and raking it in. Most of the farms are small scale and this makes it easy for them to offer organic products, especially as they should not have used chemical pesticides or fertilizers for at least a year. What is really great is the fact that the people who buy swear that the organic products are superior to the ones on the supermarket shop shelves. Besides dairy products, the organic fever seems to have spread to vegetables, fruits and poultry as well.
