What A Whey To Make Babies Stronger
It’s a huge market – we’re talking about infant nutrition. And the huge Dutch dairy corporation, Friesland has realized just what a valuable area it could be. With a demand that is growing by leaps and bounds not only in Europe but all over the world, infant nutrition products seem to be on top of many food manufacturers’ lists.
For Friesland, milk and whey ingredients are the core thrust areas of expansion. Which is why their whey center at Bedum has just increased its production capacity. Now, this new expansion will also include a form of whey that will not contain salt and will be suitable for infant consumption. Babies’ kidneys find it hard to process too much of sodium.
They’re calling their infant product Deminal 90 and it will be available in both powder and liquid form. This is the latest addition to their many specialized and high quality whey based products.
